Our Process

We bring a different approach to designing your one-of-a-kind landscape!

Contact us by phone or by using our contact form. Give us some basic info about what you have in mind
We will schedule a time to meet with you in person and visually inspect the area to be worked on. We will discuss your ideas and even share some of our own ideas. We want to incorporate your ideas into as much of the design as possible. After all, it is your yard. If for any reason we feel something will not be a good fit for your yard we will let you know why and offer an alternative.

After our initial consultation and thorough discussion about your needs and ideas we will get to work!
Normally in about a weeks time we will have a hand drawn custom landscape design ready for you to view.
This will be a top down "Bird's Eye" view of your yard with each plant laid out and color coded based on what type of plant it is.

After you have reviewed the plan, please ask questions. Now is the time to make changes. After you approve an estimate will be given which will cover labor, materials, and plants.
We give an estimated cost due to the way material prices can vary from different sources. Sometimes we have to source materials and plants from multiple suppliers due to availability
Typically, we come in at or below our estimated cost and if the project begins to exceed the estimate, we will let you know and can adjust based on what you are comfortable with

We schedule a day to get started on your project
First, we prep the area. This could include debris removal, old plant removal, old weed barrier removal, ground prep etc...
Sometimes this process can take an entire day
Next, we begin to prep the area to accept the new plants. This could be tilling, laying of new weed barrier, top soil, or even retaining walls.
We then lay out each plant according to the agreed upon design draft. This is the part where you can really begin to see the design come to life. This also is a time where we can see if something doesn't look right and may need to be corrected.
If all is good, we put it all in the ground and top off with quality mulch or rocks
Upon completion we will go over basic maintenance and care for your newly designed and landscaped yard!
Payment is made.
